Busboys and Poets welcomes award-winning journalist Max Blumenthal for a special report back from Iran. Fresh from his recent reporting trip, Blumenthal will share firsthand observations and on-the-ground perspectives from Iran, including his coverage of the funeral of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
He will also discuss his experience returning to the United States, where federal agents seized his electronic devices and questioned him upon arrival, an incident he has described as an attempt to intimidate journalists engaged in critical international reporting.
