In collaboration with Make Music Day DC, we are pleased to welcome Joezy to Busboys and Poets for a special performance that is free and open to all.
Make Music Day DC is part of the worldwide Make Music Day celebration held each year on June 21, bringing communities together through free, live musical performances in public spaces, neighborhoods, parks, businesses, and cultural venues across the District. The event celebrates the power of music to connect people and make the arts accessible to everyone.
Joezy is a first generation Nigerian American artist who grew up in Prince George’s County, Maryland. He intertwines his faith, culture, and DMV upbringing in his heart felt lyrics and smooth melodies. He has performed all over the country and has had his popular singles like “Dance It Away”, “I Pray”, and many others played all over the world!
Join us for this special Make Music Day DC performance at Busboys and Poets and experience an afternoon of original music, creativity, and community.
