Raaheela is a leader in across many issues in her community and was elected to the Prince George's County Board of Education at 23 years old, so she knows how institutions and policy works. She has also worked in the nonprofit democracy-building space for 10 years. She is running for MD Senate District 23 (Bowie) and if she wins would be the first Muslim in the MD Senate. She's done the work and will continue it for all Marylanders once in the State Senate!
