Join us for a DC community celebration honoring the birthday and legacy of freedom fighter Paul Robeson, organized by local DC activists.
This dynamic evening will feature DC youth, elders, poets, activists, and community organizations, along with music, singing, and powerful commentary.
The program will also include a special presentation by the Children’s Legacy Theater, featuring talented Ward 8 teens.
In recognition of his enduring impact, Washington, DC has officially proclaimed April 9, 2026 as Paul Robeson Day.
