On April 9, join the small business community in DC to hear from Janeese Lewis George, the people-first Democrat running for mayor. Janeese is eager to understand your concerns and challenges in running a business in the district. She will lay out her vision and answer questions about her plans for the mayor's office.
Janeese Lewis George is a third-generation Washingtonian, and the daughter of a union postal worker. DC shaped her, and it’s why she has spent her career fighting for working families.
Janeese is running for mayor to make DC safe and affordable, and build a city where government works for residents in all eight Wards.
