Join us for a New Year’s Eve Benefit for Gaza Soup Kitchen, featuring a specially curated menu by renowned Palestinian author, journalist, and culinary storyteller Laila El-Haddad.
The evening includes music by special guest DJ Chris Smalls, with a guest appearance by Mosab Abu Toha, and more.
Laila el-Haddad is the co-author of the acclaimed cookbook The Gaza Kitchen, a powerful celebration of Gaza’s culinary traditions and the women who keep them alive. Through her writing, public speaking, and food scholarship, she brings the flavors, stories, and resilience of Gaza to the world — making her menu for this evening especially meaningful.
Ring in the New Year with an unforgettable evening of food, drinks, DJ, and live entertainment — all included with your $50 donation. Enjoy an open buffet, non-alcoholic beverages, and a special midnight toast to welcome 2026!
Why your ticket matters: 100% of every ticket goes directly to Gaza Soup Kitchen — a grassroots initiative founded in early 2024 by brothers Hani and Mahmoud Almadhoun — which now runs 10 active kitchen sites across Gaza. What began by feeding 150 families a day in April 2024 has grown into serving up to 3,000 people daily with hot, nourishing meals.
By participating, you become part of their mission to provide life-saving meals and hope to families in Gaza facing extreme food insecurity.
