Get ready for a FULL-STORE pride takeover on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, from 7–9 PM at Busboys and Poets (Brookland location, 625 Monroe St NE, DC).
This is more than an open mic — it’s a celebration. A stage where queer joy takes the mic, love takes the spotlight, and community fills the room. Whether you’re a poetry head, a drag lover, or just here to vibe, this night is for YOU.
We welcome all gender identities and expressions, and we especially uplift trans women and cis women who want to share their voices on the mic. From seasoned spoken word performers to first-time mic rockers — the energy will be electric, the vibes inclusive, and the talent unmatched.
