What does a line sound like when it hums? When it breaks like a chord? When it rises like dusk in the after-glow?
In this immersive workshop led by Charity Blackwell, weβll explore the intersection of sound and sense, rhythm and metaphor β where poetry begins to echo the very structure of music. Inspired by the work of poets like Raymond Carver and guided by techniques such as internal rhyme, consonance, and lyrical pacing, this session invites writers to discover the music already inside their words.
