Today’s speaker is Negar Mortazavi, an award winning journalist and political analyst who will discuss Iranian politics and US-Iran relations.Mortazavi is a Senior Fellow at the Center for International Policy (CIP), Nonresident Scholar at the Middle East Policy Council, a d editor and host of the Iran Podcast. She is a regular media commentator on Iranian affairs and has appeared on CNN, NBC, NPR, BBC, France24, and Aljazeera among others. She has written for Foreign Policy magazine, Politico, The Intercept, and The Independent. She was previously a television host for Voice of America, Washington Correspondent for Iran International television, and a Diplomatic Correspondent for The Independent.
