Cuba: Our Future
Please join Andy Shallal, Cuban Embassy, Alysia Dempsey and Liseli Fitzpatrick for a discussion about the future of the Cuban people. What impact has the Busboys and Poets Travel Tribe made towards raising awareness of and ending the US embargo on Cuba? What plans are forthcoming to inspire and empower the Cuban people. Audience participation and discussion is encouraged. The film screening of Cuba Libre will be shown after the panel discussion to kick off the Cuban Film Festival. Space is limited.
This third and final event of Cuba: Resilience Through Resistance is presented in concert with the current photo exhibition located at 450k. The exhibition features images captured by eight travelers from the January 2024 Cuba trip. They will remain on exhibit through November 2024.
