“The Stakes Is High: Democracy and the Election of 2022: Community Discussion, Music, and Poetry from Poets from the American Poetry Museum
On Wednesday, October 12, 2022, 7:00 – 9:00 PM, the University of Maryland’s MLAW Program’s LAW, ART, and ACTIVISM SERIES returns to Busboys and Poets in Hyattsville, Maryland with a program of music, poetry, and discussion devoted to the Election of 2022 and Democracy.
The program will include a Q&A with -
-Discussion on Election of 2022 and Democracy
-Open Mic Poetry, hosted by Brian G. Gilmore, Poet and MLAW Program Senior Lecturer
-Music from bassist, Emory Diggs;
-Remarks from Dr. Robert Koulish, Director, MLAW Program – University of Maryland
