The National Fair Housing Alliance is bringing together the nation's leading civil rights, housing and finance experts to kick-off a multi-city Black Homeownership Initiative. The Black homeownership rate, at 40.6%, is lower than it was when the Fair Housing Act was passed in 1968 and before redlining was illegal. This drop in homeownership is exacerbating the racial wealth gap. But there are myriad solutions to overcoming this disturbing trend and they will be highlighted during this event.
Learn about efforts to overcome structural and systemic barriers to homeownership as well as what you can do to position yourself and your family for homeownership.
Meet with professionals who can directly answer your questions and equip you with the information you need to secure your family's financial footing.
