Description:

A Continuing Talk on Race and Success Stories presents a screening and discussion of The Feminist on Cellblock Y, a documentary chronicling Success Stories, an organization delivering feminist workshops by and for incarcerated men. Richie "Reseda" Edmond-Vargas, the cofounder of Success Stories, will be leading a question and answer session following the film. Freed from prison in July 2018, he is a feminist ally, community organizer, and recording artist. The documentary illustrates Success Stories' work dismantling patriarchy from inside using the stories and words of its incarcerated leadership.
