You've never seen Chekov like this! A sort of adaptation of Chekov's The Seagull brings us Stupid Fucking Bird by Aaron Posner. Posner's cheeky update of the classic throws us into a typical country house where unrequited desire drowns in equal parts alcohol and sarcasm. These characters bare their souls as they search desperately for the truth of love and art. Watch actresses, playwrights, doctors, and novelists discover just how disappointing love, art, and growing up can be. This contemporary, meta- theatrical riff pits passionate dreams of ideal love and artistic success against the simple hard realities of quotidian life.
