SWERV Magazine, the leading national lifestyle periodical celebrating the culture and community of Black Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) people is proud to present SWERV Weekend 2018 Talent Showcase! An event designed to showcase the artistic talents of singers, dancers, hip hop artists, spoken word artists, musicians and visual artists within the Black LGBTQ Community.
Since 2008, SWERV has featured a multitude of Black LGBTQ people in literature, music, visual and performing arts, film, television, sports and politics, providing a space for Black LGBTQ excellence to forever shine. SWERV also includes sections on fashion, health & fitness, news, travel, and special events and is now published bimonthly for a total of six (6) annual issues.
