Filmed in South Dakota, this documentary speaks about the ten thousand abandoned Uranium mines that dot the United States. Leftover from the mid-1900's 'Uranium Rush' when corporations walked away from them, these open mines contaminate the land, air and water, seeping into our food supply and causing cancers, birth defects and other health problems. Invited speakers will be on hand to educate about the mines and what can be done to end our toxic legacy and clean them up.Â
