Speakers:
Phil Giraldi is a former CIA Case Officer and Army Intelligence Officer who spent twenty years overseas in Europe and the Middle East working terrorism cases. He holds a BA with honors from the University of Chicago and an MA and PhD in Modern European History from the University of London. A well-respected columnist, Phil has written columns on security issues and terrorism for The American Conservative, the Huffington Post, and antiwar.com, as During the past decade, Gerald has been interviewed frequently on major news media, including 60 Minutes, Fox News Channel, National Public Radio, BBC, Al-Jazeera and Al-arabiya. He is currently Executive Director of the Council for the National Interest.
Miko Peled is a peace activist who dares to say in public what others still choose to deny. He has credibility, so when he debunks myths that Jews around the world hold with blind loyalty, people listen. Born in Jerusalem in 1961 into a prominent Zionist family, Miko is the author of The General's Son: Journey of an Israeli in Palestine (2012). Miko is a strong supporter of the BDS movement (boycotts, divestment and sanctions) against Israel. During the assault on Gaza in the summer of 2014, Peled wrote “Israel is an illegitimate creation brought about by a union between racism and colonialism. The refugees who make up the majority of the population in the Gaza Strip are a constant reminder of this. The people of Occupied Palestine are a constant reminder of the crime of ethnic cleansing upon which Israel was established.
