Crystal opened Serenity Place DC, your neighborhood yoga studio, in fall 2014 to connect with more people on transformation journeys. Serenity Place DC is located on Rhode Island Avenue NE in the District’s Ward 5 Woodridge community. Crystal is best known for her Community Yoga and Yoga for All classes, which make the practice accessible to students of all abilities, ages, bodies, genders, shapes, and sizes. She completed her initial teacher training with Embrace Your Flow Teacher Training with Faith Hunter Yoga and currently is enrolled in the Advanced Teacher Training program at Tranquil Space with Kimberly Wilson. Crystal received additional training from Yoga for Arthritis and completed her certification with the Life Coaching Institute of Orange County. She is registered with Yoga Alliance and Yoga for Arthritis and is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. Crystal, certified in AED and CPR, lives in the Edgewood neighborhood in DC’s Ward 5.
