A Busboys and Poets in-house series! Rise + Rhyme is a weekly morning storytelling and performance series for children ages 5 and under, stay-at-home parents, and early rising families of all kinds.
Today's featured performer: Mr.Skip
“It’s all about the kids!†declares young children’s musical artist, Mr. Skip, who's been entertaining, educating and enlightening young children for over 40 years. Combining an innate ability to connect with the sticky finger set, and enthusiastically strumming his guitar to deliver fresh original tunes and familiar favorites, he delights audiences with good humor and grace. Come out, say hello, and enjoy a show!
$5 suggested donation per child. Additional donations for the performer are much appreciated.
Rise + Rhyme is held every last Tuesday of the month at 9:30 AM at Busboys and Poets in Shirlington and every Monday morning in Hyattsville, MD and Takoma, DC.
