Black women have always been leaders in the civil rights movement, but we don’t always know our sheroes’ names. Get the inside story on Black liberation, its history, and our future from this intergenerational, intersectional conversation among Black women in leadership. Through discussion and narrative, these two movement makers will share first hand how to fight systems of oppression at the macro and micro levels -- including how to confront local governments and build strong partnerships with other organizers and community members.
Liberation Takes Generations will be sign language interpreted in partnership with the National Alliance of Black Interpreters. A limited number of distance learning tickets are available for those unable to attend in person.
