About the Author:
LaKesha L. Williams, acclaimed author and speaker was born to parents Doris and Cleo Williams in Raleigh, North Carolina in 1983. To know LaKesha is to experience a calming spirit infused with gut-wrenching laughter at unexpected times. She has a passion for giving, which is demonstrated whole-heartedly through her founding of Born Overcomers, Inc. an organization and movement dedicated to promoting and spreading the belief that we were all Born to Overcome. She has authored Born Overcomers and the Born Overcomers Devotional Series which includes five 21-Day Devotionals. She is also the Owner of Ministry Motivators, a consulting firm with a primary focus on supporting individuals, businesses & ministries through promoting seminars, bible studies & retreats. In 2015, LaKesha received the Sista’s Inspiring Sista’s Phenomenal Woman Award, since she has gone on to become the 2016 Indie Author Legacy Award recipient in the Author on the Rise category and is currently a 2016 Metro Phenomenal Woman Honoree. LaKesha, as a virgin herself, is also an advocate of abstinence, purity and virginity until marriage. Currently, LaKesha resides in Southern Maryland, and enjoys serving in the community and fellowshipping with her church family at Light of Glory Ministries in White Plains Maryland under the leadership of Anthony Johnson, and spending time with her family and friends watching movies, sharing stories and creating new memories.
