Come join the DC Senior Advisory Coalition for a Happy Hour celebration of our successes for the FY18 Budget Season. This year our advocates, stakeholders, members, and partners worked tirelessly to get seniors’ voices heard among DC City Councilmembers. Anyone who participated in our advocacy is invited to attend along with those who are interested in becoming more involved in our work. The DC Senior Advisory Coalition is dedicated to improving the quality of life of older adults in Washington, DC. Made up of more than 70 member organizations and individual advocates, the Coalition focuses the DC Office on Aging’s fiscal apportionment, the provision of meals, transportation, and housing for low-income older adults in the city.Â
