We are living in anxious, often frightening times. There is a newfound toxic blend of racism, hyper masculinity, and violence that has taken the lives of too many black men, women, and people of color in the U.S. What will it take to heal racial divisions and transform the U.S, justice system?
The Social Cinema Project wants to motivate changes in policy and the justice system, and an honest conversation about what changes need to be made is paramount.
We are heading to the 47th Annual Legislative Conference of the CBC in Washington, DC to begin this conversation and gain the attention of its most important audience - the policy makers.
