Already praised by authors and Split This Rock’s Board of Directors, this powerfully entitled collection of poetry is not about bedroom naughtiness, but more about bedroom openness. Where else would you have the lack of restriction to be yourself? Readers will experience his will to live aloud and the trials he endured to be proud of living his truth. BERNARD’S BEDROOM is a page-turning relatable story that exposes the life of a black, male, gay, poet who gives voice to the lonely. After a nine-month journey of choosing the perfect poems, C. Thomas has finally birthed his definition of the black male experience and tells how he truly made it to happy.
