    The Busboys Lounge

    Busboys Lounge is the heart of our space. From certain vantage points in the lounge, you can view Busboys and Poets in its entirety. The Busboys Lounge may only be rented as part of a full restaurant rental.

    Robeson Room

    Robeson Room (Shirlington Village, VA)

    Named after actor, singer, and activist Paul Robeson. The space can comfortably seat 85 people for a sit-down dinner or workshop, or up to 120 people for a meet and mingle, social event. The Robeson room is sound insulated, not sound proofed.
    Room Capabilities:
    • 12.5' x 13.5' stage
    • Three microphones (one wireless)
    • Separate, high quality sound system
    • 12' screen projector capable of playing DVDs, VHS tapes, and cable TV
    • 8-channel sound board
    • Projector is also laptop and Internet ready

    The Cullen Room (5th & K)

    Named in honor of Poet,anthologist, novelist, translator, children's writer, and playwright, Countee Cullen. The space can comfortably seat 90 guests for a sit-down dinner or workshop, or up to 125 people for a meet and mingle, social event .

    the Loft (5th & K)

    Located atop a grand spiral staircase, the second story loft overlooks the bustling space below. The space can comfortably seat 50 guests for a sit-down dinner or up to 70 people for a meet and mingle, social event.

    • An eclectic mix of furniture allows you to lounge on a plush sofa or dine at a traditional table
