Featured Guest Speaker: Loretta J. Ross. Ms. Ross will discuss how the human rights framework may be useful in ending violence against women, especially the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW). As a rape and incest survivor, she has helped organize women of color in the movement for more than three decades, starting with organizing the First Third World Women’s Conference on Violence Against Women in 1980.
