Youth-focused and youth-led, Youth Open Mic is a monthly series that features student poets, singers, musicians and actors from the DC/Maryland/Virginia area. Middle school and high school students are encouraged to come share their art in our supportive, progressive, artistic atmosphere.


Private Event: CJP’s Daughters For Life Foundation Gala

Ronit Avni, Leymah Gbowee and Suhad Babaa will be honored during a special Daughters for Life Foundation Gala Dinner in Washington D.C. for their work in peacebuilding. The dinner honors women who have made long-lasting impacts in the global community, while raising scholarship funds for promising female scholars to attend graduate school at CJP.

Book Reading and Signing of Erika Raskin’s New Novel, Best Intentions

Erika Raskin will read from Best Intentions. The medical thriller follows social worker Marti Trailor as she tries to do the right thing and finds herself on trial as a result.
